Apply to take the
Refrigeration Contractor's Exam
In order to be eligible to take the examination, you must:
(1) Submit an application to the board, with the non-refundable examination-license fee.
(2) Verify that you have acquired at least 4000 hours of commercial refrigeration experience.
Qualifying experience shall be acquired while working under the supervision of a person who holds a valid refrigeration contractor's license, who is a registered professional engineer or who has equivalent industry experience.
Up to one-half of the experience may be in academic or technical training directly related to the field.

Examination Workbook
Any person interested in taking the Refrigeration Contractors Exam, should read our Exam Workbook. It will answer many of the questions you may have, and includes a general outline of the exam. As well as a list of references for the exam.
